Newcomer Academy logo

Newcomer Academy serves multilingual students grades 9-12, whose score on the WIDA screener and/or ACCESS test is 2.0 or lower.

Each high school will house their own Newcomer Academy and English language classes will occur on a daily basis. Students exit the

Newcomer Academy when they reach a score of 2.5.
