Assessment Office
The Assessment Office oversees the coordination and implementation of Kentucky’s state-required testing, along with other district-wide assessments not managed by other departments. The office also supports schools by providing leadership and guidance in developing and aligning local instructional programs with assessment goals.
The office is responsible for organizing and managing all state-mandated tests, including the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA), which is administered each school year to students in grades 3 through 11.
